What Chatumentary is

A comedy. Professor Finch is a fictional narrator, and the show is written by AI from counts and short quotes. It can be wrong, and nothing in it is a real judgement about anyone.

Your part

You must be 16 or over to use Chatumentary, and 18 or over for a show for a couple. Only use chats you are a member of. Don't use Chatumentary to harass, expose or hurt anyone. The people in your chat are real: share your show with them, not about them.

You are responsible for who you send your show's link to. Anyone with the link can watch the show, and in a show for two, delete it.

Paying

Prices are one-off and in US dollars; your bank converts them if your card is in another currency. The Director's Cut unlocks the full show for everyone with the link. Your Tea is for one member. In a show for two, the Director's Cut for two and the gift edition unlock the same film for both of you, and a File is for the partner who buys it. A voucher (“Gift a screening to another couple”) unlocks one Director's Cut for two, for the couple who redeems its code within a year of purchase; each code works once. There is no subscription.

If something goes wrong with something you paid for, email us within 14 days and we will fix it or refund you.

How long things last

Free shows last 30 days, shows with the Director's Cut a year from payment. A gift is kept a year from the moment it opens (or from payment, whichever is later). We may change or end features, and we will not take away something you paid for before its year is up without a refund.

The fine print

Chatumentary is provided as it is, without warranties, and to the extent the law allows we are not liable for indirect losses. We may remove shows reported for abuse.
